What is a dropped object?
A dropped object is any object that can fall from one level to another.
Why is it important?
Dropped objects can kill people. Due to the potential fatal injuries that can result from being struck by a relatively light dropped object, this is a major risk in the environments we work in.
The top three causes of industrial fatal accidents across the globe are:
1. Falls from height
2. Being struck by moving vehicles; and
3. Being struck by falling objects.
What does this mean for Altrad?
