A Verification of Competency (VOC) is a method of assessment which determines the skill level of a person against defined competency standards.

Assessing for Verification of Competency enables employers to confirm their employees have the skills and knowledge to carry out required activity or works safely. It is commonly used in many industries for pre-employment checks, contractual arrangements or site requirements.
